The data mapping project aimed to create a single consistent and clarified dataset for business archive collections in Scotland that provides improved and flexible information for creators, custodians and users of business archives.

This project was developed by the BACS and the University of Glasgow to find the records of the hundred oldest limited companies still registered at Companies House, Edinburgh.
